5. Alan Rogers 4 Seasons Award
This award is made to outstanding sites with extended opening dates and which welcome clients to a uniformly high standard throughout the year.
WINNER
Camping Eienwäldli, (CH9575), Engelberg, Switzerland
An excellent site in a magnificent location with top quality amenities including an excellent heated toilet block and an attractive indoor pool complex. A perfect site for a summer or winter holiday.
RUNNERS UP
Schluga Camping, (AU0040), Hermagor - Presseggersee, Austria
A very well-equipped holiday site with excellent facilities making this an ideal choice for a summer or winter break. Amenities include excellent heated wash blocks and a lakeside bar and terrace. A very good location for winter sports.
Flaminio Village Camping & Bungalow Park (IT6814), Roma, Italy
A superb all-year site ideally located for visiting Rome with some excellent facilities including a swimming pool, bar and solarium. Pick up service from Rome’s Ciampino airport and direct access to a cycle route into the city.
6. Alan Rogers Seaside Award
This award is made for sites which we feel are particularly suitable for a really excellent seaside holiday.
WINNER
Camping Nautic Almata (ES8030), Castello d’Empuries, Spain
Superbly organized and deservedly popular site with direct beach access to a long, sandy beach in a sheltered bay. Friendly atmosphere and an extensive range of amenities, including a marina.
RUNNERS UP
Camping Les Ecureuils (FR85210), Jard sur Mer, France
A very well equipped site located in a pine wood and with easy access to a fine beach of golden sand and to the pretty little resort of Jard sur Mer. The site is always very well managed and has an excellent range of activities and entertainment.
Camping Ca’Pasquali (IT6036), Cavallino - Treporti, Italy
This is a very popular, well established site with an excellent location next to a fine, sandy beach. Plenty of top quality amenities and entertainment, and a fine swimming pool complex.
7. Alan Rogers Country Award
This award contrasts with our former award and acknowledges sites which are attractively located in pleasant, rural locations.
WINNER
Oakdown Touring and Holiday Caravan Park (UK1020), Sidmouth, England
A friendly family site set amidst some magnificent Devon countryside. This site has been sensitively developed and offers many opportunities to appreciate local wildlife from a setting where the environment is a natural extension of the holiday experience.
RUNNERS UP
Camping Country (CZ4896), Hluboke Masuvky, Czech Republic
A site with an idyllic setting on the edge of a small village. Many great opportunities for horse riding and cycling. The site fits superbly into the landscape with a pretty stream dividing the 2 sections of the site.
Camping de Roos (NL5980), Beerze-Ommen, Netherlands
This beautiful small site is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is truly a nature lover’s campsite. The river winds through the site and conserving the environment is a top priority for the site’s owners.
8. Alan Rogers Rented Accommodation Award
Given the increasing importance of rented accommodation on many campsites, and the inclusion in many Alan Rogers guides, of a rented accommodation section, we feel that it is important to acknowledge sites which have made a particular effort in creating a high quality ‘rented accommodation’ park.

Camping & Bungalow Park Sanguli (ES8480), Salou, Spain
A superb site which has recently added 66 Caribbean style bungalows, ‘Villas Paradise’, to its unprecedented high quality range of accommodation. The site always seeks to innovate and offers some truly excellent and unique amenities in a very popular area.

Camping Scheldeoord (NL5575), Baarland, Netherlands
A member of the Ardoer group, this excellent site offers a range of chalet and mobile home accommodation, all of which is equipped to an extremely high standard. A great range of amenities are on offer here too.
Camping Valdaliso (CR6736), Rovinj, Croatia
Superbly located close to the delightful town of Rovinj, this site is unusual in that it offers both high quality hotel accommodation as well as a good range of high quality mobile homes. The hotel has a number of excellent amenities, including a fine restaurant, which are available to all.
